The Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) R&D team looks to hire an R&D engineer with focus on process integration, and new technology development. In our ongoing effort to improve device performance and diversify our product spectrum, we need a creative person who is able design and integrate complex thin film processes (more than ten levels of lithography). The ideal candidate is a very technical person, who finds solving challenging problems to be a rewarding task. Our BAW business is growing rapidly, and we desire a highly motivated individual excited to be part of this opportunity. The candidate should present good communication skills both verbal and written. The candidate needs to be comfortable working with and support other groups like process engineering, design engineering, manufacturing, etc.


  • Bachelor's degree in physics or related fields required

  • Master's or PhD in MEMS, thin films integration or thin films for acoustic devices is a plus

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as process integration engineer in semiconductor/MEMS industry

  • Experience in developing/transferring processes from R&D to high volume manufacturing

  • Knowledge of the various standard semiconductor processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, etch, CMP), hands-on experience being a plus

  • Experience with process integration for high volume manufacturing

  • Prior BAW / acoustic devices experience

  • Knowledge in acoustics for thin films materials

  • Skilled in programming languages such as C++, Matlab

  • Knowledgeable in material physics

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a process integration engineer in semiconductor/MEMS industry or school

  • Knowledge of the various standard semiconductor processing techniques like Litho, CMP, CVD, Etch, or PVVD
