Role Description:

Position Overview

The Cloud SOlutions Engineering Manager is responsible for providing excellence in customer service, technical support, customer requests execution, change request processing, incident tracking and resolution, troubleshooting, and resolution of critical cases. The position will directly manage a team of support staff while also performing a reduced amount of technical work.

Job Responsibilities

The main role is to ensure that a high level of technical expertise is provided by the team to the customers. The role also includes leadership and management of the team of 10-15 to run day to day operations . Prior Manager experience required. The manager is also hands on to provide technical expertise to resolve highly complex technical problems. The key skills put to use on a daily basis are – leadership, time management, high level of technical skills, technology stack knowledge, problem solving skills, and customer service expertise.

Education & Experience

  • B.S (Computer Science/Engineering) or equivalent preferred. Other qualifications with adequate experience will be considered.

  • Proven professional and technical experience with 10 years of industry experience

  • Prior experience leading a technical team

Top skills for the ideal candidate:

  • Experience working as a Windows, Linux, or Unix system administrator in and enterprise environment.

  • Experience supporting and managing Linux and Windows engineers

  • Experience managing global teams

  • Experience with Weblogic, Tomcat, Oracle RDBMS, MSSQL application products in a production environment

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services

  • Strong leadership and management skills with a team of 10-15 in recent positions is a MUST.

  • Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills

  • Willingness to engage in process improvement and developing new efficient means of execution

  • Strong ability to adapt and learn quickly

  • Superior verbal and written skills, excellent customer service, as well as high attention to detail
