JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for managing the procurement, fabrication, integration and installation of project related graphics. Works with a multitude of Universal Orlando departments and Construction Project Team members to ensure all signage needs are met.
Produces scopes of work for contract execution.
Interfaces with design staff and project management to meet the project requirements.
Supervises/handles the installation to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Coordination between internal departments to insure proper installation and operation.
Manages the production at vendor locations ensuring project quality, creative intent, specific conformance and schedule accuracy through installation.
Works with Graphics Manager to develop and oversee project schedules and budgetary demands.
Oversees the Universal Creative Directive of Final Acceptance (DFA) process for all contracts written.
SCOPE: Manages the design, fabrication and installation of all signage needed for each project. This will incorporate the Operational needs while keeping with the creative intent of the project. Modifies designs or artwork using Photoshop or similar graphics editor software as required to support the project. May periodically produce artwork and/or graphics when the design intent is better delivered internally rather than by managing and outsourced consultant/vendor.

Ability to walk and maneuver on a construction site is mandatory.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required in Graphics, Design, Management and/or Communications from a four year college or university or a related field experience.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 Years: Relevant project management experience is required. 5-7 Years: Theme park industry knowledge/experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
