JOB SUMMARY : Manages and provides direction to Sales Assistant Managers within the Entrance Operations department. Responsible for oversight and profitability of Entrance Operations, through team leadership, revenue generation, and guest satisfaction. Partners with other departments in Operations (including Blue Man Group, Guest Services) to advise on and help drive sales programs. Uses analytical skills to ensure that assigned areas are meeting departmental standards for guest & team member satisfaction, and financial goals while maintaining the highest safety standards.


  • Develops and manages Sales Assistant Managers to achieve set UO sales targets. Responsible for implementing and driving new initiatives to bolster sales revenue. Ensures accurate and effective department sales reporting, continuous review of staffing levels, attend senior leadership meetings and present results.

  • Develops of Sales Assistant Managers and ensures the development of Sales Leads and Sales Supervisors. Provides training, coaching, and mentoring to Sales Assistant Managers

  • Establishes and collaborates with supporting department leaders, including Business Development, HR, Staffing, Learning and Development, and Marketing Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ensures team members are consistent with sales and service dialogues and follows UO service expectations. Proactively addresses guest service concerns with Entrance Operations supervisors.

SCOPE: This individual will be responsible for the sales side of the Pass Sales area of Entrance Operations at Universal Orlando. This person is responsible for the operation of a high dollar sales area. Primary responsibilities include team leadership, revenue generation and guest satisfaction.


  • High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.


  • 2-4 years of sales and supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional analytical and creative abilities such as developing and implementing incentives. Ability to evaluate data, determine trends, find opportunities, and make recommendations. Collaboration with and influence partners and peers. Proficiency in coaching, training, and developing salaried and hourly employees.
