Based in Orlando, Florida you will work in the warehouse or in the external depots, in partnership with the Material Handlers and the Operations and Maintenace (O&M) team interfacing with their functions, and reporting to the General Manager. You will also be responsible for all physical material logistics, control, record keeping, purchasing activities and for the safe daily management of the storages, contractual obligation for all inventory requirements and the extra work support.

In your role you will:

  • Define and/or implement logistics/storage procedures, including support on extra work activities such as estimates, deliveries and other procurement functions required to conduct all work on time;

  • Manage all activities in the warehouse/Lay down yards/Other Depot and Communication materials respecting production and planning needs and performance;

  • Draft Safe System of Work Plans (SSWP), Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) for project delivery and supporting tracking daily project activities;

  • Control material quantity at good entrance and receipt of goods at production site or depot;

  • Store the goods, ensuring its safeguard;

  • Pick and distribute material in accordance to production requirements (Engineering Bill Of Materials (EBOM) and packaging needs) and planning needs;

  • Pack the goods ready for shipment for repair orders and extra work;

  • Dispatch components to suppliers/depots (including all necessary documentation) ;

  • Monitor the availability, effectiveness and track the handling tools (trolleys) for material delivery;

  • Ensure that all necessary Material Handling Equipment (MHE) are available and maintained to perform the tasks;

  • Manage the incoming goods, quality of the components;

  • Control material quality depending on rules defined by document on O&M contract;

  • Quarantine non-conforming material and follow up non-conformity resolution;

  • Be accountable for inventory checks;

  • Analyse Annual or continuous cycle, over stock and obsolescence Physical scrap of material;

  • Be accountable for all material transactions stated above within the Maximo systems;

  • Be involved in the constant material availability and anticipation of stock-out risk;

  • Manage the employee under its responsibility;

  • Ensure a safe place of work and ensure that all employee is trained and has the necessary accreditation/permit;

  • Manage the performance management process and provide material management plan per O&M contract;

  • Report the performance KPIs related to its responsabilities and continuously improve the overall performance.


As our ideal candidate:

  • You have three (3) to five (5) years of experience on procurement and material handling role for O&M contract;

  • You own experience with logistic activities in a warehouse (e.g. support manufacturing and operations for logistic aspects, interface with other deparments, customers and management wharehouse activity);

  • You have the ability to work in groups and to manage critical situations;

  • You posess experience on Change Management, RFIs, SSWP and on railroad construction project;

  • You have the ability to work under pressure;

  • You have knowledge of warehouse logistics flows, related documentation, transaction management system and inventory procedures;

  • You have experience in Maximo inventory management system and MS Office;

  • You own experience working with handling equipment for a warehouse.
